Wandering through an imaginary landscape

Wandering through an imaginary landscape

Art has a way of taking us places, sometimes to real memories, and other times to worlds that exist only in our minds. This sketch, Imaginary Landscapes (March 2025), is one of those places. A world made of lines and curves, where nature feels both familiar and otherworldly.

The trees stretch in strange, delicate shapes, as if they’re moving in the breeze of some dreamlike world. A winding path invites us to step inside, to explore. Where does it lead? Who or what might live among these hills and branches? That’s the magic of a drawing like this—there are no limits, no right or wrong answers. Just imagination at play.

I love how sketches like this feel free. Every line flows naturally, creating a sense of motion and depth. It’s a reminder that art doesn’t have to be perfect or planned, it just has to be felt.

Looking at this, I can’t help but wonder: what kind of landscapes live in your imagination? If you could draw a world from your mind, what would it look like?
